I had a few shoots over the year where we used the new Nisi Athena Primes on set . Liked them so much I got a full set of PL mount ones for myself! Great little Lenses that are small, lightweight and have a nice balanced look to them.

Spent the better part of a month this summer filming the Americas cup for Tv New Zealand. Pity they didn't win but it was an exiting shoot nonetheless.

Now offering the Sony PMW-F3
Need your shoot to have a cinematic feel, Im now offering a complete Sony PMW-F3 camera package that shoots in the true 35mm sensor format with a variety to lens and recording options. This camera has amazing latitude and the ability to make your next shoot look like it was made for the big screen.
Amazing low-light sensitivity. Gorgeous highlight handling. Able to see into dark areas without undue noise. The PMW-F3 responds to light and color beautifully, as directors of photography can attest. It's all made possible by an original Sony ExmorTM CMOS image sensor purpose-built for the PMW-F3. This is not some DSLR image sensor retrofitted for video. In fact, the F3 image sensor pixels are four times the size of typical DSLR pixels, equal to a two-stop advantage. It all adds up to one of the most eagerly anticipated cameras in Sony's history.
Corporate shoots are some of my favorites..
Got to call from a long time client of mine to shoot a profile of silicon valley's hot new company Jive software in Palo Alto. Had a blast shooting with the CEO and founders who were total pro's in front of the camera. We shot this one against a white background in 4:2:2 HD XDcam and handed off the material on a hard drive for edit. Not stressing about delivery formats is finally making this business fun again!
Easy Chinese
Last summer I had the pleasure of DP'ing on the Food Channel series "Easy Chinese, San Francisco" with the lovely Ching-He Haung. It was a pretty demanding shoot as we shot all over the San Francisco Bay area but the show looks great and I got to bring home a lot of recipes. Check it out on the food channel.
Haiti
Traveled to Haiti back in January to cover the 1st anniversary of the 2010 earthquake that devastated the country. Did a ton of live-shots for my friends at Eurovision but luckily the only time we wore our flak vests was for this picture.
